The Cancer Pathway Coordinator plays an essential role to ensure timely management of patients with suspected and / or diagnosed cancer, highlighting potential breaches of national cancer standards and taking appropriate escalation actions to ensure the Trust can achieve the national and local cancer targets.

We are looking to appoint a Housekeeper, on a part time/full time basis to provide non-clinical support to the theatre team, carrying out tasks assigned to the individual under the supervision of Team Leaders and Theatre Practitioners.

Along with your GCSE's in English and Maths at Grades 9 - 4 (or equivalent), you should have previous experience within a service industry including cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment.

The essence of the role is to assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff and to ensure that stocks and supplies are kept at adequate levels within the department, therefore IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel is essential.

The post holder will attend necessary meetings, feeding back relevant information, action within own scope and share responsibilities with Senior staff to enable them to delegate to the appropriate person therefore effective communication skills, both face to face and written will be required.

Specialist Nurses - IBD (RSH)

INTERNAL VACANCY

The IBD Specialist Nurse Team are looking for a fixed term/Secondment Band 3 post to cover maternity leave. This post is 37.5 hrs per week. Part time or job share may be considered.

To carry out administrative tasks on behalf of the specialist nurses such as; ensuring patient notes are sourced and tracked in a timely manner, ensuring supplies of specialist stationary are available, answer the telephone and deal with enquires, take accurate messages and direct them to the correct member of the team, deal with internal and external post,  deal with emails and ensure appropriate and timely distribution, and enter information onto PAS in regards to booking of IBD and infusion clinics. There is also responsibility for managing a waiting list for these clinics. Uploading information to portal is also part of the role and takes minutes for MDT along with arranging preparation for MDT.

The role will be primarily based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital although some cross site work may be required occasionally and is primarily Monday to Friday 8-4 but this can be flexible in response to service demand and personal requirements.
